Hello, I am a PhD student from Palma de Mallorca (SPAIN). Actually, I investigate the fundamental traits of the biology-ecology and the fishery of the European squid Loligo vulgaris in western Mediterranean. I will try to determine the population dynamics and exploitation of this species through the characterization of the spatial-temporal distribution of the professional and recreational fishing efforts, the determination of the annual fishing mortality and the study of the biology and the population dynamics of this species. The final goal of these investigations is to generate the bases for the sustainable management of the squid fishery.
