Types

Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 309 (2 male II). These specimens could not be located in 1980 or 1985.

Type Locality

Affluent (= tributary to Tombigbee River) of Mobile River, Kemper County, Mississippi.

Range

Tombigbee River basin in Mississippi eastward to the middle Chattahoochee River basin in Georgia.

Habitat

Sluggish streams, ponds, and roadside ditches.
