Scientific Name Heliornis fulica
Location Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, New Mexico, USA
Comments The species is non-migratory, but occurs as a vagrant outside of it's breeding range. It does not appear to be kept in zoos or bird collections. The breeding range extends nominally into central Tamaulipas.
