Introduction

Found exclusively in northern Venezuela, Alobevania tavaresi is the largest species in the genus.

Characteristics

One can recognize this species from the pale spot on the lower face, the short setae on the legs, the relatively large size, and its restricted range north of the Amazonian Basin.
